The Perils of Indifference vs the Lottery

     If you were to re write the title The perils of Indifference it would be "Why show remorse when you can give it the cold shoulder?". It sounds harsh but it is the truth in most cases people are selfish in many ways. We all don't care about others misfortune until we are caught up in the situation. In the story "The Lottery" The ending shocked many readers in how the villagers behaved and showed that people don't care whats going to happen until its there turn. Just like in real life situations like bullying most people wont take charge because they are scared that they will to get teased and harassed as well. In the story Mrs Hutchinson had no concern or arguments until her name was picked for being stoned, just like when someone starts getting bullied is when they realised they should of stepped up when they had a chance for someone else. Eli's speech connects to the story "The Lottery" by there theme, Indifference when it doesn't affect that person they tend not to care what happens.

Love At First Sight

     It was love at first sight, i couldnt breath i melted like chocolate on a hot summers day. He was everything i have dreamed of, he completed me. When he talks i get butterflies and i gaze into his beautiful blue eyes. They say he has the face only a mother could love but i beg to differ Love is not finding a perfect person, it is seeing an imperfect person perfectly. I have never been in love before until he came along and took my breath away, i think i could of died i almost swear my heart stopped beating for two seconds. He was the cheese to my macaroni. And then he left me i always thought love wasnt who you live with..It was who you cant live without and i clearly cant live. Our love was as two hearts beating as one and now its broken, it shattered like a mirror and theres just to many peices to pick up. They say that if you lvoe something you should set it free. But i just couldnt watch him leave. and now ill be destin to walk the face of the earth alone forever like the incredible Hulk.
